Form does not 'recognise' user entered email addresses?

Hi

My form collects email addresses however I want the form to 'recognise' the entered email address as an email address and create a link to create an email when clicked.

I'm using ES2 and have set the text box to rich text - am I missing something here?

See above image - how do I get the form to recognise that as an email address and create a hyperlink to open an email to send to this address?
