I am using the LiveCycle direction of Sift+CTRL+Click on the object to insert the absolute SOM into the preSubmit event for a button. The idea is to enforce a field cannot be left blank rule for select fields throughout the form. I should be getting something along the lines of what is populated on line 4 in the image below. Unfortunately the the Shift+CTRL+Click command is yielding the results in line 2. This is causing issues is certain fields. Any insight would be appreciated.
