Hyperlink problem.

Peeps,

I've created a form in LS designer. In one section of this I added a text hyperlink which should open a separate PDF file that we have hosted on a file server.

I added the hyperlink using the UNC file path similar to the below example.

file:///server/share/sub folder/second form.PDF

Now, when previewing the form in the Live Cycle inbuilt reader, the UNC hyperlink works great and opens the linked PDF file successfully.

However, if I open the first form in standalone Adobe Acrobat X Pro or Adobe Reader 9 and click the hyperlink it tries to open it in the web browser and fails saying that the path is invalid.

I've tried searching on the forum but haven't found any concrete solutions.

Can anyone comment?
