Changing a subform from positioned to flowed programatically

I was just wondering if there was a way, through the code, to change a subform from positioned to flowed.  I want to be able to present a part of the form to the user in a certain way, and to achieve this I need to have it start as positioned, but after they are finished filling out the form I want to change that subform to a flowed layout.
