Recently my IT Department will Introduce Share Point and Infopath Forms.
We use a lot of PDF dynamic forms and I do not want all this work to be waste or replace with infoForms!
My question and I need your HELP please is:
1. PDF form can work inside Share point?
2. How I can defence PDF forms vs Infopath forms?

I have tried to download Adobe Experience Manager. However, I can not find link to download. Can anybody help me to download Adobe Livecycle?
My form has a subform that becomes visible when 'yes' is ticked in a radio button group (there are several radio button groups and subforms). The subform appears again on a summary page - I included instances of the hidden subform in two places. I have made each field in the subform 'global' so all data appears the same in both instances of the subform. This worked fine on the first few of these forms. On the latest I received the above message and the form won't open. Can anyone tell me what this message means, and if there is an easy way to find the problem and fix it. Thanks.
I have a simple chkbox snippet that displays a subform further down the document. I would like a messagebox to pop up on the Enter function for that chkbox that reminds them a new section is open and page number is X.
message box is easy enough, but I can't get a dynamic display of the new page. Any help is appreciated

There are many posts about date formatting, but could not really get what I want from them. many of them are related to getting and formatting current date. Here is my requirement. I need to pull the date field from sample xml ( data binding) which comes in format yyyy-mm-dd and another field comes as yyyy/mm/dd
1. If Locale is "US
Display as mm/dd/yyyy
else if locale is "EUR"
Display as dd/mm/yyyy
2. And I also I need to get the year, month and date for these fields to use them in writing some other logic.
I tried using string built in functions and not happy with it. Is there any date functions to define the date format dynamically for java script, instead of updating them on Formatting option of Date/Time field?

Hello, I have a document that has "page # of ##" on the master page. I do not want the page numbers to show up on the last three pages. As soon as I create a 2nd master page that doesn't have "page # of ##" on it, an extra blank page is inserted between the last of the numbered pages and the first of the non-numbered. I have tried everything I've seen on this forum, such as checking the sizes of objects, making sure each subform is "continue filling parent," un-checking the box that says "include page in numbering," and even re-building the whole thing from scratch. As soon as I add that 2nd master, along with it comes the extra page. Any ideas?
Not sure if this is possible - nothing occurs to me. I have a form with an appointment list for patients - each subform will have a date field to be entered for that appointment. This list is then printed out and the clinician use them as a guide to the appointments required. What they would like is to have the list run in order based on the date. I was thinking that maybe the appointments could appear on a separate page in an order based on the date entered. Is this possible, or is there some way of achieving this. Thanks!!!
I have gotten help from this forum before which has been great. However, when it comes to actually applying the help I've gotten, I just can't seem to get it right.
My problem is that I'm trying to get side by side fields to flow. Let me say, I've saved and opened the sample I've seen on this forum named:
2009-06-03 Flowed Subforms, I have dissected it and tried to apply everything in every tab exactly the same as my re-creation and it doesn't work for me.
I have 2 problems, if my side-by-side fields do flow, they stair step. I fill the first left field, then tab over which will populate the left field. When I fill the right field and tab again to go back to the second left field, the right field (cell) will begin filling at the bottom of the first left field. Stair step. But at least all the fields do fill and flow.
While poking around trying to fix that problem, then I got the problem that all my fillable fields are no longer fillable when I click Allow Page Breaks Within Content in the Field tab. Note that this option is clicked in the Subform tab. But, if it's clicked in both the subform and field tab, the field will no longer be fillable at all when I look at it in PDF Preview.
The parent subform is positioned/allow page breaks within content; the child subform is flowable/western text/allow page breaks. I have Auto Fit clicked in all 3. Again though, in the actual text field, if I check Allow Multiple Lines and Allow Page Breaks . . . this is what seems to make the field no longer fillable.
I have tried to do my page content areas, page subforms, parent subforms and child subforms properly as well as everything checked properly in the Object window and its tabs but obviously I'm doing something wrong somewhere.
This document is 4 pages, the first 3 are completely text (directions/information). The fourth is the side-by-side flowable text fields (a chart if you will, 2 columns, 1 header, 4 rows), followed by simple text boxes which I'll have no problem with.
I won't be able to work on it again until Monday but if anybody's got the time to help me with this again - maybe next week - I'd be very grateful.

I have a pdf which generated from a word document .It has texts but not like XFA form controls.
I have to convert this form into the XFA form using Livecycle studio.
I opened pdf in livecycle studio,it restructured the document into the studio structure.
This pdf has forms like page1 and page2 and has subforms as it's children.
When I change the content type as "Flowed" of page1,2 ,it disturbs the alignment and shifts everything to the left.
Is there any way to make the form content type as flowed and does not disturb the alignment.

I am using livecycle and trying to have a subform only show up when the check box is checked. I would like the subform to be invisible and if the checkbox is checked, I would like the subform to appear. Within the subform, I would like to have a text box with + button on the left side of it within the subform which appears only when the check box is checked. The + button will allow for additional rows to be added below the text box when selected.
Can someone please provide me with step by step instructions on how to do this, especially how to have a subform appear when a check box is checked?

I'm setting up a business card that requires expanding fields.
Having set up the left aligned fields to expand using subform: flowing and western text, the fields work fantastically, pushing other text to the right to accommodate the input.
When I do the same for fields that need to expand from right to left using the subform: flowing right to left, the subform is barely visible as it 'shrinks' to a pixel high and all the fields in the subform overlap each other from the right, instead of being next to each other and pushing as they extend.
I've tried using a table but that only allows the content to extend vertically - this needs to extend horizontally.
Any assistance will be welcome!
I have a dynamic XFA form which is working well with fields hiding and showing based on radio button and drop down list selections. However, when the form is saved, closed and reopened the subforms disappear. I can only guess it has something to do with script on initialise this.presence = "hidden"; and perhaps the hierarchy of subforms. Can someone please help?

A bit of help with this problem I am having with the attached form.
Ideally with this form I would like to have my responses from my questions summarized under the appropriate header.
So if the answer to the asked question is clicked as NC (Non-compliant) all NC answers will be listed under the text field labeled NC. This should follow for questions responses to PC too.
The way I have been doing it in the past is through "this.rawValue = Q1.Table1.Row1.TF2.rawValue + "\n" + Q1a.Table1.Row1.TF2.rawValue" for all my questions, with the result in my header text field is listed full of nulls. At the end of the process I then manually delete the nulls, leaving just the correct responses. This is rather tedious and time consuming and not very user friendly.
I have requested some help with this question in the past and the solution provided worked, but up to a point, only if i had 2 variables. I have tried to adapt the solution provided to cover multiple questions, but unfortunately no luck with my coding. My hacked solution is under the PC header text field.
So if anyone can help provide a solution to my problem that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to create a two column page which needs to get data that will fill the columns. Upon filling one column, the text will need to reflow to the next one (as much as a two column text frame in a layout program does).
Is it possible in a Designer ES? (version 8.2.1.5161.1.566259) What is the best practice to do so?

I have a form where most of the users will simply fill out the form and send it to a central location where the form gets reviewed and then submitted to a database through ODBC data connections. The problem is that the users that fill the form out don't have and don't need the database that the form connects to. So, when they open the form, the form will not be able to find the ODBC connection the data connection refers to and they get the "connect operation failed..." message.
Is there a way to suppress this message? 
Another option would be to have a button that does the data connections at runtime that the people at the central office could press, but I haven't been able to find a way to do this either.
I've created a dynamic pdf via Livecycle Designer ES4. My requirement is to add rows dynamically to a table based on the no of test's in the xml file if there are more then one test in the xml file create the row dynamically and populate the test data into the cells. For the first row, data is getting populated in the table and from the second row onwards which is created using "addInstance()" method data is getting populated in the LiveCycle tool but it is displaying an empty row in the generated pdf in the application. I have a form to document payroll exceptions. If the user has more than one date for being absent they will click a button to add more dates.
As the table grows I'd like a box at the top of the form to calculate how many hours they are reporting.
Any suggestions/thoughts would be helpful. TIA!

My form has a repeating subform that is the last object in my form's hierarchy. I have a button that, when clicked, creates a new instance of this repeating subform. Each instance of this repeating subform has to start on a new page, so for this subform, under "Object > Pagination > After" I selected "Go To Next Page". That was easy enough. However, naturally this makes the last page in the form blank. How do I always hide this last blank page while still being able to keep my page breaks between each instance of the repeating subform? If always hiding this last blank page is not possible, how do I hide it on, say, prePrint?

I have two tables. The first is a master table with columns. The second table is a single row table with a drop down in column 1 where I clear on entry and add items to create the dropdown. I would like to know how in the 2nd table upon selection in dropdown to pull in the field values for the other fields in that given row.
This question has been asked on here a few times, but I don't see an answer.
I have some fields on my form that I want to have more explanation in the accessibility tag for screen readers than I would in a tool tip.
I also have some fields that don't need a tool tip, but do need custom text for the screen reader.
When I set custom text for a field, that text is showing up as a tool tip.
Is there a way to:
1. Have different text for custom screen reader text than the tool tip text?
2. Have text in custom screen reader text but no text in tool tip, and no tool tip displays?
The only choice that seems to suppress all on-screen tip displays is none. I don't understand how I could get custom text to work for the screen reader but not appear on screen. It doesn't seem to make any difference if the text is in the tool tip box or in the custom screen reader text box -- both show up as on-screen tool tips.
I have custom text on this field, and the preference set to custom text. The custom text is showing up as an on-screen tool tip. I only want the custom text to be read by a screen reader, and not appear on-screen.
